Cuete's next goal in life was to become an actor. He immediately started booking roles as "gang member" and "thug" in projects such as "Sons of Anarchy" and "Southland." Cuete's charisma, professionalism and strong acting chops eventually lead to a strong supporting role in the Alma-award winning film "Filly Brown," opposite Edward James Olmos and Lou Diamond Phillips.

As he continued to book "gangster" roles, casting directors began to recognize Cuete's strong comedic abilities.
