"Store Front" is an independent comedy series from 2008, blending elements of workplace sitcom, absurd humour, and light mystery. Created in a low-budget, DIY style reminiscent of early web series or cult cable shows like "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" or "Clerks," it follows the chaotic daily operations of a versatile retail store called Storefront, which has morphed over the years into various businesses—now a music store. The pilot episode, titled "Opening" or simply the series premiere, establishes the premise: a quirky ensemble cast dealing with eccentric customers, interpersonal drama, and the recurring trope of discovering a mysterious dead body each week. This sets up a formulaic structure for future episodes, combining retail satire with dark comedic twists.
