Tom Budge – Australian actor and musician, born 15 March 1982 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. Also a composer, lyricist, and emerging screenwriter, he has toured with the Tom Budge Band and received two Helpmann Award nominations for Best Supporting Actor for The Beast and The Lieutenant of Inishmore. His most notable film roles include Pickles in Australian Rules (2002), Samuel Stoat in The Proposition (2005, opposite Ray Winstone and Guy Pearce), Schumann in Candy (2006, opposite Heath Ledger and Abbie Cornish), Johnno in Kokoda (2006), Slippery in Bran Nue Dae (2009), Josh in Son of a Gun (2014), Mr. Frankly in Judy & Punch (2019, Sundance), and Guy Chambers in Better Man (2024, opposite Hugh Jackman). On television he appeared as Pfc. Ronnie Gibson in The Pacific (2010, HBO), Cliff Sutton in Gallipoli (2015), Hon. Mortimer Smales in The Artful Dodger (2023), and Geert in Upright (2022, opposite Tim Minchin). He was cast in The Rings of Power (2021) but walked away from the role in March 2021.
